Submission Guidelines / Conference Registration
Student presenters submit below. All faculty, students, and others register to attend the conference with the second form at the bottom of this page.
Join us next year for the 32nd Annual Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference at Ohio Dominican University.
Ψ All undergraduate students are eligible to submit reports of empirical psychological research. Presentations using quantitative or qualitative methods, observation, or data from archives are welcomed. All student submissions that have been endorsed by a faculty sponsor are accepted. Submission deadline: Friday, April 20, 2018.
All student submissions must first have the approval of a faculty sponsor before the work is submitted. Students do not have to pay to present.
Each submission must include the following:
- The title of your presentation
- The names of the authors of the presentation, their affiliations, and email addresses
- The name, email, and telephone number of your faculty sponsor
- A 50-word abstract of your paper
All research papers will be presented orally. Each presentation will be 15 minutes in length consisting of 10 minutes of oral presentation, followed by a 2-3 minute question and answer session. A 2-3 minute allowance is given for transition between presenters.The 31st Annual Ohio Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference is sponsored by the Ohio Consortium for Undergraduate Psychology Conferences and hosted in 2017 by John Carroll University’s Department of Psychology. Facilities for PowerPoint presentations and for showing video tapes will be available to all presenters. Multiple submissions by authors are welcomed as are papers with multiple authors. Students may submit more than one presentation; Group presentations should be submitted only once. Please indicate which authors will be presenting for group presentations. All properly formatted submissions will be accepted. Non-presenters are welcome to attend and a free lunch will be provided for all those registered for the conference.
